In the 2010 season, our flights were conducted under the leadership of the French S.A.F. Hélicoptères team, one of the world's leading companies in the civil aviation sector. SAF Hélicoptères was established in 1979 in collaboration with ski resorts and the government authorities for rescue missions in the Alps (Secours Aerien Francais – French Air Rescue). By constantly expanding their range of services on offer, the company has since become the leading European helicopter corporation (Service Aerien Francais – French Air Service).
In the 2011 and 2012 seasons we entered into partnership with another helicopter company entered: Swiss Eagle Helicopters AG company. It specializes in passenger and freight traffic for the public and private sectors. Established in 2002, the company enjoys an impeccable reputation thanks to its meticulous adherence to principles of transparency and fairness.

We chose Eurocopter AS350 B3 Ecureuil as our main helicopter; it is a multipurpose light-weight helicopter with a single engine. It stands out for its excellent aviation and technical characteristics, flight safety, and low maintenance requirements. The AS350 В3 Model has a powerful engine with a digital control system and can take off, fully loaded, from a height of 7000 metres. It has also been adapted for extreme flying, including at high attitudes and in cold climates. Proof of this can be found in the fact that in May 2005 the French research pilot, Didier Delsalle, broke the world record for the highest ever take-off and landing as he landed his standard configuration Eurocopter AS350 B3 Ecureuil on the snow-capped peak of Mount Everest (8850 m).
